Comedy. 9-15 minutes. 3-10 either. Suitable for high school and older.

The Godot Variations was performed in Boston through the Orfeo Group and at Wisconsin State University. The separate parts of it have been performed independently at The Samuel French Off Off Broadway Festival, Brooklyn College, Lamia Ink, City Theatre Delaware, NYU, and other venues.

Synopsis

A series of mini-parodies of Samuel Beckett's existentialist classic. Among the quartet of variations are a restaurant (Waiters for Godot), a service call (Call Waiting for Godot), the outside of a stadium (Tailgating for Godot) and…whining (Whining for Godot), each an affectionate send-up of a play that has captured a strong place in the popular imagination.
