Synopsis

The DESPAIR (Deliberating Equalization and Standardization Program of Analytical Investigation Reevaluation) is the most brutal test any student will ever take. In one hour, forty-three minutes and sixteen and a half seconds, four teens' entire lives will be decided. As we watch them navigate this complex web of questions, we're not alone: The Proctor lurks, waiting for the right moment to pick off the weak member of the herd. When he finally springs his trap and closes in for the kill, will the others flee with their futures intact, or risk everything to stop him?
