Jenna is a teenager living in a place known only for race cars and beauty pageants.  When her friends discover an old bridge, diving off it becomes her obsession.  Her strange, solitary nighttime practices make her an outcast, but the possibility of diving for a college team gives her a way to escape the small town.  When a dive damages her inner ear and she can no longer keep her balance, however, all of her future plans are put in jeopardy.
