Drama with Music.  Book and lyrics by Tom Smith and music by Roger Butterley, based on the book by Charles Dickens.  90-100 minutes.  5+ males, 5+ females (10-35+ performers possible). Suitable for high school and older performers, and middle school and older audiences.

Synopsis

American Southwest Theatre Company (Las Cruces, NM)

An enchanting adaptation of Dickens’ classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his redemption from a life of greed and sadness. When four ghosts visit Scrooge, he is forced to look at his life—past, present and future—and witness the effect he has on others. A “play with music,” the script includes four songs.
